Grass is the fastest renewable raw material that can be used for a paper bag. The grass cuttings for our paper are available almost everywhere in Germany and Europe and therefore have very short delivery routes. Its unique structure is not only a haptic and visual highlight, the typical grass smell remains in the bag until it is used - sniffing is expressly encouraged. Did you know that the apple is a real storyteller? We also use hemp in our paper bags. This oldie among paper raw materials was first used 2,000 years ago. By the end of the 19th century, more than 75% of the world's paper was made from the long, durable fibers. This is probably why the famous Gutenberg Bible from 1455 has not yet disintegrated. European hemp fibers are used for these creative, resource-saving papers. Oldie but Goldie - long disappeared from the scene, it is now celebrating its big comeback. Produced without dyes, hemp paper is a real game changer - the manufacturer Gmund received the German Sustainability Award for it.
